just a flash thought.. when i was booting my computer while the speaker was on. Then, when the system enter the desktop, the starting sound's been heard. A KDE opening sound. It's nice sound. What I was thinking is.. imagine that along booting time, your computer playing a song that you've set before! so you're not only waiting your system turning on with a splash picture then entering the desktop with opening sound. Not just like that. When you push the button, after loading BIOS, then loading the kernel, mounting soundcard module, then playing a random Dream Theater's songs!! It's wonderfull.. It'll be more amazing if your system can play a videoclip along the booting period.. hhuhh but can it be realized? i dont know. i have no knowledge for this matter.
Pls keep in your mind, my idea is for unix and posix system only, as i use a varian of them. Dont care about windo.. system. How come people buy an expensive system which they must be busy to update antivirus everyday to maintenance their system? Pls get the free, reliable ones!!
